How to use the secure message portal.

After you have logged into the secure message portal, a number of tools are made available to interact with your secure messages.


In this article, we will introduce the most commonly used secure portal features.




Quick steps to reply to a secure message

  • Click on the message to display the message contents.
  • Click on the reply button.





  • Type in your secure reply to the message.
  • If you intend to include an attachment, either click on the "Attach a file" button or drag and drop a file to the attachment area.
  • Click on the "Send" button.

Quick steps to compose a secure message (without replying).




  • Click on the "Compose" tile on the left-hand side of the portal.
  • Type in the recipient address in the "To": field.  Please note, you will only be able to enter an email address for a domain that has previously sent you a secure message.
  • Compose a message.
  • If you intend to include an attachment, either click on the "Attach a file" button or drag and drop a file to the attachment area
  • Click on the "Send" button.

Setting preferences


  • Click on the "Settings" tile on the left-hand side of the portal.
  • Select the "Preferences" menu option to view and select any personal preferences.
  • Select the "Responses" menu option to create a canned response to use for replies or when composing secure messages.
  • Select the "Password" menu option to change your password.
